Netra[tm] 240 Server: Repair Procedures

This section provides tips (when available) for the most common repair procedures for the Netra 240. The repair procedures are provided in the following Netra 240 Server Service Manual (817-2699).

Component Tips
ALOM
  • Performing excessive NVRAM writes can result in a corrupted SEEPROM which can cause the Advanced Lights Out Manager (ALOM) to be unusable requiring a hardware replacement. (FAB 1009873.1).
Memory Modules
  • Minimum OBP version is required to support new DIMMs with 333MHz dual data rate. (FIN I1148-1).
System Board
