Memory Notes
- Bank, Rank, DIMM, and XOR Interleaving is supported.
- UltraSPARC IIIi supports single bank and dual bank DDR DIMMs.
- Two DIMMs of the same bank size (single or dual) and memory size form a
bank.
- The minimum requirement is two DIMMs in any Bank (B0/D0/D1 or B1/D0/D1).
- Memory error reporting identifies a failing Bank, not a single failing DIMM.
Motherboard Notes
- The Motherboard FRU includes Motherboard 501-6344, AC Wire Harness 530-3146,
Flex Circuit Cable 530-3147, and CPU/Memory Shroud 540-5285.
- Do NOT pull on AC Wire Harness connectors P9 or P10. The connectors attach
sideways to the Motherboard and are held in place by the CPU/Memory Shroud.
- The CPU/Memory Shroud holds Tomatillo heatsinks at U1501 and U2601 in place.
- Master Tomatillo interfaces include the ALOM/RSM Slot, Ethernet 1,
Flash PROM, I2C, ATA-100, PCI Slots 0, 1, and 3, SCSI, Serial B,
Serial PROM, Smart Card Reader, TOD, and USB 0-3.
- Slave Tomatillo interfaces include Ethernet 0, and PCI Slots 2, 4, and 5.
