Troubleshooting DetailsPROBLEM OVERVIEW: CAP unlocked LED is lit and blinking- Application (ACSLS or HSC) should have the CAP in an offline condition. WHAT ACTION DOES THE ENGINEER NEED TO TAKE: -Do health check on library via SL Console -Make sure all cartridges are fully seated and properly oriented in slots -Via SL Console, verify the lock/unlock status can be changed and LED matches action -Verify the CAP rotates when pushing the lock/unlock button and is functional - If the library has a safety door, very the elevator offline on the right side, activate the safety door, then - If library does not have a safety door, library must be offline before opening door to check cables and CAP motors. -Check the cables to CAP motors and switches are seated -After verifying cables and CAP motors are functional, de-activate safety door and place elevator online. -Review the Error Log for details on CAP failure to determine failing component -Record specific error code and messages associated with failure in case notes -Record all relevant visual observations of error in case notes -Record final fix in case notes CONFIRM THE FIX BY: Check status of CAP on SL Console Run SLC Self Test diagnostic to verify functionality Either perform an eject or enter to verify proper operation of the CAP.
