Goal
To understand the process of creating a storage domain after installing new bricks.
Fix
Once the new bricks have been added to the Axiom by following the EIS Pillar Axiom Brick installation checklist, follow the steps below to create a new storage domain for the new bricks.
- Go to the Monitor tab > Hardware > Bricks, confirm and document the new brick types and brick numbers, for ex: Brick005 - Brick008, SATA.

- Go to the Configure tab > Groups > Storage Domains > Actions Menu and select Manage Storage Domains.

- Click on create and type a storage domain name. For ex: SATA_SD1.

- Next click on the Bricks Tab > select the new bricks > on the Storage Domain column select the drop down menu and select the newly created storage domain and click Ok.

- Confirm the new storage domain has the correct amount of bricks, for ex:4.

- Collect System logs so Support can confirm the new bricks have been added to the new storage domain successfully.
