WHAT ACTION DOES THE FIELD ENGINEER/CUSTOMER ADMINISTRATOR NEED TO TAKE: Removing the NVRAM 1.Power off the system, then open and position the chassis. Note – NVRAM and the NVRAM connector are keyed. Installing the NVRAM NVRAM installs directly onto the motherboard. There are no additional fasteners or cables. 1.Locate the NVRAM connector. Note – NVRAM and the NVRAM connector are keyed. 3.Press the NVRAM down until snug. 4.Ensure that the NVRAM is tight in its connector. 5.Reposition the chassis, replace the access panel, power on the system, and verify the component installation.
