Removing a PCI Card

1.Power off the server.

2.Remove the server cover.

 - If you are removing one of the two half-length PCI cards installed in the upper positions (PCI1 or PCI2), unseat the PCI card from the connector and lift it out of the server

 - If you are removing the full-size PCI card at the lowest position (PCI0), follow these instructions:

  - Pull up on the handle for the PCI card support and slide the support clear of the PCI card

  - Unseat the PCI card from the connector and lift it out of the server

Installing a PCI Card

1. Insert the PCI card in the appropriate slot and press it firmly into its connector.

 - If you are installing the lower full-length PCI card, pull up on the handle for the PCI card support and slide the PCI card support completely against the PCI card

2. Reattach the PCI lockdown bracket and tighten the PCI lockdown screw

3. Install the air duct and rear fan assembly.

4. Close the rotating service module.

5. Install the server cover.
