Goal

How to collect Library Information using SL Console.

Fix

Use the following steps to acquire Library Information from SL Console:

1. Open the SLConsole application.

2. Enter your User ID: and Password: and the ip address of the library, press Log On and wait for the connection to complete.

3. Review the Library information by going to Tools expand the list below Status Summary, select Library Information and wait for it to load on the Reports window. Once the load completes press the Save button and save the file to your hard drive (*as a text file and not the default HTML*).

The Library Information file can then be attached to the Service Request for analysis.
