Goal

Obtain the SL24/SL48 Autoloader error codes.

Fix

The error codes can be obtained from the Front panel LED or throught the RMI Web interface.

To get them from the front panel you have to write them down and attach them to the serivce request.

To obtain them through RMI:

1. Load the RMI web interface.
2. Input a valid Username: and Password:
3. Select Support, then Library Logs and finally selecting the Error Trace to display the errors.
The logs entries are in the format YY.MM.DD HH.MM.SS.ss Lib/Err<AA BB CC DD
where AA can be 80 for a hard error and 40 for a soft error
BB is the error code. CC and DD the subcodes of the partical error.

4. The errors can be saved in a Dump file through the Save Service Dump button.

This file can then be uploaded to My Oracle support for diagnostics.
