Goal

 How to collect Error Warning Info logs and Library Information using SL Console.

Fix

 Steps to Follow
Use the following steps to acquire Error Warning Info logs and Library Information using SL Console:

1. Open the SL Console application.

2. Enter your User ID: and Password: and the ip address of the library, press Log On and wait for the connection to complete.

3. Review and record events from the library event log by going to Tools.

    - Expand the list below Log, select Event Log.

    - Error Warning Info and wait for it to load on the Reports window.

    - Once the load completes, press the Save button and save the file to your hard drive (*as a text file and not the default HTML*).

4. Acquire Library Information by going to Tools.

    - Expand the list below Status Summary and select Library Information and wait for it to load on the Reports window.

    - Once the load completes press the Save button and save the file to your hard drive (*as a text file and not the default HTML*).



These files can then be attached to the Service Request for analysis.
