L1400M Interface Control Module User Guide 96231

The L180/700/1400M Interface Control Module (control module) supports two Management Information Bases (MIBs) for management using SNMP: the Fibre Alliance (FA) MIB and the Crossroads Enterprise MIB. A Management
Information Base contains complete descriptions of the different types of information that can be exchanged between the control module and a management application using SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol). The FA MIB is an Fibre Channel industry standard MIB that provides support for link status, event logging, traps and other information in conformance with the FA MIB 2.2 guidelines. The Crossroads Enterprise MIB allows access to all configuration information stored in the control module.
