Fix

The luxadm command can be used to display the path to the FC HBA device and the status of the connection.
For example:

#luxadm -e port
/devices/pci@5,700000/SUNW,qlc@0/fp@0,0:devctl                     CONNECTED
/devices/pci@4,600000/SUNW,qlc@0/fp@0,0:devctl                     CONNECTED
/devices/pci@3,700000/SUNW,qlc@0/fp@0,0:devctl                     NOT CONNECTED
/devices/pci@3,700000/SUNW,qlc@0,1/fp@0,0:devctl                  CONNECTED
/devices/pci@4,600000/SUNW,qlc@0,1/fp@0,0:devctl                  NOT CONNECTED
/devices/pci@5,700000/SUNW,qlc@0,1/fp@0,0:devctl                  CONNECTED
/devices/pci@7,700000/SUNW,qlc@0/fp@0,0:devctl                     CONNECTED
/devices/pci@7,700000/SUNW,qlc@0,1/fp@0,0:devctl                  NOT CONNECTED

1.  CONNECTED means that there is a FC device connected on the HBA controller port

2.  NOT CONNECTED means that there is no FC device connected on the HBA controller port

3.  /devices/pci@7,700000/SUNW,qlc@0,1/fp@0,0:devctl is the physical pathname to the host controller port.

4.  /devices/pci@4,600000/SUNW,qlc@0,1/fp@0,0:devctl -  "pci" indicates the PCI bus to which the HBA is plugged in

5.  /devices/pci@4,600000/SUNW,qlc@0,1/fp@0,0:devctl -  "@4" is the instance of the PCI controller.

6.  /devices/pci@4,600000/SUNW,qlc@0,1/fp@0,0:devctl - "SUNW,qlc" refers to the HBA device driver.
( "qlc" is the FC Solaris Leadville driver for Oracle-branded Qlogic HBAs )

In the case of Oracle branded HBAs, the following device drivers are available:

qlc - Qlogic hba from Sun/Oracle
emlxs - Emulex hba from Sun/Oracle

              For Non Oracle HBA

 lpfc- emulex from Emulex
qla - qlogic hba from Qlogic

qlt - COMSTAR driver for a target QLogic 4G HBA
                     (Used with ACSLS logical libraries)

7.   /devices/pci@4,600000/SUNW,qlc@0,1/fp@0,0:devctl  - "0,1" points to the second controller in the same HBA and in same PCI Bus (i.e., in a 2-port HBA);
                                                                                 -  same as /devices/pci@4,600000/SUNW,qlc@0/fp@0,0:devctl

8.  /devices/pci@4,600000/SUNW,qlc@0,1/fp@0,0:devctl  - "fp" is the FC port controller's device driver
