- How do I disable the service date dependency?
- If no actions are taken when license expires will the library still be operational until the next reboot?

- Can I reboot the library?

- How do i get rid of the 3235 Warning messages?

Fix

Q: How do I disable the service date dependency??
A: Upgrade the library firmware. The old code (2.81) was based on an older version of the licensing scheme (SILKS). To remove this dependency you need to upgrade the firmware to at least version 3.0. Once upgraded the Service feature is controlled via the CLI. See Doc 1131384.1

Q: If no actions are taken when license expires, will the library still be operational until the next reboot??
A: Yes.  There will continue to be the following symptoms/exceptions:

Service Required Light will continue to be lit.  Log Snapshot will not work until this issue is resolved.

Q: Can library be rebooted?
A: Yes. The library will still work.

Q: How do I get rid of the Result Code 3235 Warning messages?

A: Upgrade the library firmware. A fix to the licensing scheme is incorporated in later releases of SL3000 firmware (greater or equal to version 3.0).
