T5220 Product Knowledge or Training recommended but not required as the part is CRU

FIELD ENGINEER INSTRUCTIONS
PROBLEM OVERVIEW: Faulty Alarm Card
WHAT STATE SHOULD THE SYSTEM BE IN TO BE READY TO PERFORM THE RESOLUTION ACTIVITY? :
A data backup is not a pre-requisite but is a wise precaution.
Customer should shut the operating system down gracefully (using "init 0"), and after the system has shut down Switch from the system console to the -> prompt by typing the #. (Hash Period) key sequence. At the -> prompt, type the stop /SYS command.
WHAT ACTION DOES THE ENGINEER NEED TO TAKE:
*** Follow standard ESD procedures to avoid Electrostatic Discharge
1. Disconnect all power cables
2. Remove the Top Cover
Removal of Alarm Card:
1. Remove the PCI Mezzanine.
2. Disconnect the cables from the alarm board.
3. Remove the four alarm board screws and lift it up and out of the chassis
Installation of FT0:
1. Seat the alarm board back into the chassis, and tighten the four alarm board screws.
2. Reconnect the alarm board cables
3. Route the cables into the cable guides.
4. Install the PCI Mezzanine
Completion of replacement:
1. Install Top Cover.
2. Connect all power cables.
OBTAIN CUSTOMER ACCEPTANCE
WHAT ACTION DOES THE CUSTOMER NEED TO TAKE TO RETURN THE SYSTEM TO AN OPERATIONAL STATE:
Customer restart software applications per applicable administration guides to resume system operation.
