WHAT STATE SHOULD THE SYSTEM BE IN TO BE READY TO PERFORM THE RESOLUTION ACTIVITY? :
Shut down system and Power down the server then have the server positioned so that interior components can be accessed.

WHAT ACTION DOES THE ENGINEER NEED TO TAKE:

a. Press the release tab downward
b. Pull the riser card straight up and out of the chassis

B. Install the PCI Mezzanine board:

1. Install the PCI mezzanine riser cards on the motherboard
a. Carefully place the riser cards on the riser card slots.
b. Press down until fully seated into slots.

2. Carefully seat the PCI mezzanine on the PCI riser cards.

3. Secure the release tabs by pressing them forward and down. Securing the release tabs fully seats the PCI mezzanine onto the riser cards. You do not need to press downward.
