Goal

How to acquire a replacement key for the SL8500 or SL3000 library door.

Solution

There are 2 keys that are used on each library.
One opens the mail door to each library.  (A126)
The other operates the Service Safety door on the SL8500 or the AEM Service Door on the SL3000. (CH751)

Note:
The keys are interchangeable between the VSM, SL3000 and SL8500.

There are a couple of ways to acquire a replacement key.

1. Use the "key number" and go to the local hardware store.  They will have the key or make one up.
2. Pull the key from another SL3000 or SL8500 and go to the hardware store to be made.
3. Go online and do a search for the key and order a replacement.

Note:
CH751 keys are also used on RV's (Recreation Vehicle).   If you have an RV or know an RV store they probably have a CH751 key.
