Goal

This document explains the steps to identify the target group IQN which belongs to ZFS Storage Appliance (ZFFSA.).

Fix

Initiator groups and target groups are used to mask iSCSI LUNs from the host based on IQNs.  The following shows how to identify the IQN that belongs to a certain target group.

Identify Target Group that an IQN belongs to:

Follow the steps below to identify target IQNs from the CLI.

1. Log on to the appliance CLI:

solaris$ ssh -l root 192.168.150.21

oratkyar1:>


2. Run following commands to verify target IQNs.

oratkyar1:> configuration san targets iscsi groups
oratkyar1:configuration san targets iscsi groups> show
Groups:

GROUP NAME
group-000 iscsitgrp1
      |
      +-> TARGETS
          iqn.1986-03.com.sun:02:a12800dd-0262-48a7-9482-ef0c95ca0c4e
