This document explains steps to identify the target IQN on a ZFS Storage Appliance (ZFFSA.)

Fix

What is the Target IQN?

Target IQNs are iSCSI Qualified Names for the given target LUN on the Oracle ZFS Storage Appliance.  The target IQN will be used to point to the LUN from the initiator host.

Identify the target IQN:

Follow the steps below to identify target IQNs.

1. Log on to the appliance CLI

solaris$ ssh -l root 192.168.150.21
Password:
oratkyar1:>


2. Run following commands to verify target IQNs.

oratkyar1:> configuration san
oratkyar1:configuration san> targets
oratkyar1:configuration san targets> iscsi
oratkyar1:configuration san targets iscsi> show
Targets:

TARGET ALIAS
target-000 iscsitgt1
|
+-> IQN
iqn.1986-03.com.sun:02:a12800dd-0262-48a7-9482-ef0c95ca0c4e


Children:
groups => Manage groups

oratkyar1:configuration san targets iscsi>
