Goal

Where can I download MIBs for my ILOM 3 SPARC CMT server

Solution

MIBs can be downloaded from the ILOM itself.

The procedures are fully documented in the "Oracle Integrated Lights Out Manager (ILOM) 3.0 SNMP, IPMI, CIM, WS-MAN Protocol Management Reference" manual  but are repeated below:-

There are two methods:

1. Using the Browser User Interface (BUI)

Point your web browser at the IP address/hostname of the Service Processor and login
Navigate to Configuration -> SNMP -> MIBs
Click on Download and you can save the MIBs to a file of your choice.

2. Using the Command Line Interface (CLI)

Logon to the Service Processor (eg via ssh)
cd /SP/services/snmp/mibs
set dump_uri=<URI>

where <URI> has a syntax like
ftp://user[:password]@host//absolute-directory-path/
ftp://user[:password]@host/relative-directory-path/
sftp://user[:password]@host/absolute-directory-path/
