How to Remove and Replace a X4170 X4270 Compact Flash

FIELD ENGINEER INSTRUCTIONS:
- PROBLEM OVERVIEW:faulty compact flash
- WHAT STATE SHOULD THE SYSTEM BE IN TO BE READY TO PERFORM THE
RESOLUTION ACTIVITY?:
- WHAT ACTION DOES THE ENGINEER NEED TO TAKE:
1. Powering off the system and disconnect the power cords from the system

2. Remove the top cover

3. Remove the PCIe Riser in slot 0

4. Remove the compact flash

5. Install new compact flash

6. Install the PCIe Riser into Slot0

7. Install the top cover

8. Connect the power cords and power on the system


OBTAIN CUSTOMER ACCEPTANCE
- WHAT ACTION DOES THE CUSTOMER NEED TO TAKE TO RETURN THE SYSTEM TO
AN OPERATIONAL STATE:
