Goal

KMA - How to Determine whether it is a SunFire X2100 M2 or X2200 M2 KMA Server

Solution


If the hard drive in the KMA needs to be replaced, one will need to know if it is an X2100 or x2200 server
as the disk drives have different part numbers.


Have customer go into the ELOM GUI, select System information, Server Board information.

Server Board - S40 is an X2100 M2 KMA
Server Board - S30 is an X2200 M2 KMA

Customer can also physically tell from front of KMA server facade will say either a X2100 or X2200


Disk FRU Part Numbers:
X2100 542-0440
X2200 542-0443
