Has gone through basic 2500/6000 Array Hardware Introduction
Common Array Manager (CAM)

FIELD ENGINEER INSTRUCTIONS

PROBLEM OVERVIEW:
Expansion tray IOM has been determined to be failed, and in need of replacement.

WHAT ACTION DOES THE ENGINEER NEED TO TAKE:
1. Use the Service Advisor (SA) for the Array in question to review IOM replacement directions.
2. Remove and replace the IOM per the SA instructions, noting position of the cabling, and location of any SFPs removed from the original IOM.
3. Restore SFPs and drive tray cabling
4. If a 2500M2 or CSM200/16 Drive tray, make sure that the tray ID's match in the 7 segment display. Mismatch indicates a fault, and the TSC should be
contacted.

OBTAIN CUSTOMER ACCEPTANCE

WHAT ACTION DOES THE CUSTOMER NEED TO TAKE TO RETURN THE SYSTEM TO AN OPERATIONAL STATE:
1. Verify that the IOM status is OK
2. Verify that there is no Drive Tray Lost Redundancy, Failed IOM, alarms on the array. This can take up to 5 minutes
3. Verify the IOM firmware is the same for both IOMs in the same tray. Have it updated if not.
