Fix
DISPATCH INSTRUCTIONS
WHAT SKILLS DOES THE ENGINEER NEED:(IS A SITE ENGINEER AVAILABLE?)
This component is a CRU and can be replaced by anyone.
DELIVERY REQUIREMENT:
This operation requires a complete power outage of the entire machine.
Thus it needs to be planned according to the customer's wishes.
TIME ESTIMATE: 30 minutes
FIELD ENGINEER INSTRUCTIONS
WHAT STATE SHOULD THE SYSTEM BE IN TO BE READY TO PERFORM THE RESOLUTION ACTIVITY? :
Back up the information and shut down the system
WHAT ACTION DOES THE ENGINEER NEED TO TAKE:
1.- If necessary, back up any data that is contained on the compact flash module.
2.- Power off the server and remove the server module from the chassis.
3.- Remove the main cover.
4.- Locate the compact flash module under the REM at the back of the server module.
5.- Grasp the card, push down slightly, and pull card out.
6.- Installation is the reverse of this procedure.
OBTAIN CUSTOMER ACCEPTANCE
WHAT ACTION DOES THE CUSTOMER NEED TO TAKE TO RETURN THE SYSTEM TO AN OPERATIONAL STATE:
Restart the system
