Solution

PROBLEM OVERVIEW: SL500 CAP problem

Initial on-site investigation does not require any customer intervention.
Certain action will require customer to take down library and transports from the host.

WHAT ACTION DOES THE ENGINEER NEED TO TAKE:
-Check for Service Required LED
-Review SL Console for error status
-Check that the CAP door latch assembly is not broken
-Re-initialize library to verify library comes up online
-Check that the CAP Tray is seated properly
-Verify CAP is configured correctly
-Run diagnostics to the CAP, replace CAP FRU as needed
-Record specific error code and messages associated with failure in case notes
-Record all relevant visual observations of error in case notes
-Record final fix in case notes

-Run diagnostics to the CAP to verify functionality
-Have customer access the CAP to verify it is functional.
