Goal

This document is intended to provide block size limit for hardware compression in Oracle VTL servers to field support and customers.

Solution

Max block size for HiFN hardware compression card is 512KB.
512 KB is also the default max size, and is configurable via the driver conf file at the direction of VTL engineering.
