How to bring an RTD from maint mode. SolutionFSC73D8 indicates that a suspect broken RTD has been detected.Internal instructions 1. Connect to the failing VTSS subsystem and check the RTD Status. 2. If RTD is found Online, skip to Internal Step 6. 3. If RTD is found Offline Maintenance Mode, skip to Internal Step 5. 4. If RTD is found Offline Undefined Mode, please review <Document 1119554.1>. 5. Contact customer and check the status of the RTD problem. If the RTD is still in maintenance mode, have the customer do the following: If an RTD is found to be in maintenance mode please do the following: 1. Issue the command: VT VARY RTD(xxxx) OFF -- where xxxx is the RTD address The following messages will be displayed:2. Verify the RTD is OFFLINE by issuing the following command: VT D RTD 3. Once offline, issue this command: VT VARY RTD(xxxx) ON -- where xxxx is the RTD address The following messages will be displayed:4. Verify the RTD is ONLINE by issuing this command: VT D RTD When issuing the above commands, please prefix the command with the HSC identifier defined to your system. For example, the symbol '#' can be defined as the identifier and a sample command would be #VT D RTD. Internal Instructions continued 6. Verify with the customer the RTD problem has been resolved. 7.
