SolutionPlease note that the upgrade on both Primary and remote systems must be performed simultaneously to keep the mirroring intact. At the beginning of the installation process, the new NAS OS is uploaded to each of the NAS heads; this will take several minutes and can be performed while the system is in operation. The NAS OS is installed during a subsequent reboot of the head. The reboot operation will take slightly longer on this occasion than for a normal boot, but should complete in about 7-8 minutes.Steps to Follow The procedure is as below: Both the systems heads should be in normal state before starting the OS upgrade. 1. Upgrade the OS on both source and target Head-1 servers. 2. Reboot both source and target servers simultaneously.
