Description
If after a motherboard replacement, you lose the ability to login into the ALOM.
Refer to <Document: 1006432.1>

Steps to Follow
If after a motherboard replacement, you lose the ability to login into the ALOM, see solution 209017 for remedy (For V210/V240/V440)
If <Document: 1006432.1> does not work (Usually for V440, rarely on V210/V240), verify if the replacement motherboard
is of a different Part Number or newer Part Number. If the motherboard is indeed newer, check the ALOM Firmware version, if the ALOM
Firmware is outdated, flash it with the latest copy of the ALOM Firmware

Reason:
This could be due to the older version of the ALOM Firmware  not able to be recognized and modify the newer ALOM config that is
written into the System Configuration Card (SCC) during motherboard replacement  OR connection issue between the motherboard and the SCC
card causing failure to read the System Configuration Card (SCC) data correctly.

Verify the hostid and MAC address in the OBP banner, if it is showing all “00” or “FF”, then you have a connectivity issue on hand
instead of a ALOM Firmware  issue

Note:
When you use a NEW motherboard, make sure the ALOM Firmware  is updated. If the ALOM NVRAM (formatted with higher Rev ALOM Firmware) on the motherboard gets written into the SCC card, the old ALOM Firmware  will not be able to recognize  the new ALOM data structure on the System Configuration Card  resulting in not able to update the password and user account.

This will not happen if the ALOM Firmware  in the ALOM card has been updated to the latest Firmware.

Account Teams should advise customer to  keep  their  ALOM Firmware  / OBP  to the latest (since it is already EOLed).
