Goal

What device file is created in /dev for the L-series libraries?

Solution

Steps to Follow
None.
Solaris only needs to see the drives, which show up as /dev/rmt0, /dev/rmt1, and so on. The backup software controls the robot and will contain the driver.

For more detail, contact Solaris support or the software vendor as appropriate.
