Goal

How to Identify what Type of SCSI Interface is Being Used in the library.

Procedure can be found in the "L700e Tape Library and L700-Pass-Thru Port Operator's Guide".

Steps to Follow
How to Identify what Type of SCSI Interface is Being Used:

  1. Power the library on if it isn't already. Wait for it to finish initializing.
  2. Press the "Menu" button and arrow down until you see "Lib Info Config".
  3. Press the "Select" button to select "Lib Info Config" and arrow down until you see "Lib SCSI I/F".
  4. Select "Lib SCSI I/F" and there you should see what SCSI interface is installed on the library. It will either be HVD or LVD.
