The Sun[TM] Volume System Products (VSP) business unit and the Sun[TM] Customer Support VSP Product Technical Support group, recommend that the ALOM of all VSP hardware platforms with the ALOM feature, to be at the latest officially supported release, which is available from the external Sun software download web site (detailed below). Note: ALOM can also be referred to as the: "system controller", "system management controller","remote management controller”.
