Details

This is the master document containing information on the Telstra ONLY Non-NEBs mode Netra 6000 DC chassis supported configurations.

 Telstra-specific configurations:
Oracle is offering Telstra the Netra 6000 DC chassis and additional components not included in the standard Netra 6000 NEBS certified and supported list of components.  These additional components are supported in the Netra 6000
chassis only in Non-NEBS mode.  NOTE: These features are not supported for any other customers.

Non-NEBS mode:
Non-NEBS mode is a supported configuration of the Netra 6000 DC powered system that violates the NEBS certification.  Although NEBS certification no longer applies, non-NEBS mode enables the system to run additional components listed below.

Firmware and operational requirements:
Additional requirements and firmware updates are required for all components to operate in non-NEBS mode noted below in the User’s Guide.

Netra 6000 chassis part numbers:
There are two versions of the Netra 6000 DC chassis, where non-NEBS mode can operate, marketing part numbers N6000-‐DC, and 7100417.

Ordering and configuration instructions:
When ordering any of the below components for use in non-NEBS mode, use guidance from the Sun Blade 6000 ordering menu.
