Description


  • Blade 6000 Network Express Modules (NEMs) provide connectivity to the blade systems in  the Sun Blade 6000 modular chassis.
  • depending on the NEM type and blade type, different connectivity options are possible
  • typically the on-board interfaces of a blade system can be accessed via the NEM
  • depending on the type, the NEM may have it's own ILOM accessable via the CHassis Mamagement CMM
  • This document covers Blade 6000 NEMs only, other types of NEMs are supported by the respective platform group.
