reset reset the Solaris system showerrorbuffer show the contents of the error buffer enablecomponent remove a component from the blacklist
shutdown shutdown Solaris and take to standby mode help show help for a command or a list of commands testinterconnect run interconnect test
showsc show SC (or LOM) version and uptime history show command history setchs set FRU Component Health Status (Only available in service mode <5.20.15) </td>

Connecting to the SC from an admin workstation:

  Use a serial port connection:
       # tip hardwire

Use the telnet command (assumes SC net has been configured with setupnetwork):
       # telnet SC-hostname or IP address

  Use SSH:
       admin-ws% ssh v1280-sc1
Enter Password: As setup by the lom> password command
       Connected. HIT RETURN

Note – At 5.18.0, you will be offered the option of connecting with a
secure shell (ssh) only if you have an SC V2 in the IB/SSC.
In this case only SSH will work not telnet

         run, no testing.
quick - Few tests and few patters.

How to Identify the Physical DIMM Size:

  - Physical DIMM Size is equal to the "Size" entry
    in prtdiag divided by 2.
  - lom>inventory identifies the DIMM size and part
    number.
  - prtfru_-x.out data in Explorer identifies the
    DIMM size.
  - lom>showboards -p memory identifies the DIMM size.

How to Identify the CPU Speed:

  - lom>showboards -v -p cpu shows the CPU speed.
  - prtdiag identifies the CPU speed..
  - prtfru_-x.out data in Explorer identifies CPU
    speed and the board type.
  - showlogs AD Event messaging does NOT identify
the correct FRU pn for a SB.
