Likelihood of OccurrenceThis issue can occur on the following platforms: Sun ZFS 7000 Storage Appliance platforms:
Notes: 1. This issue only occurs on the above systems with the following cards installed, and the system should not be updated to the 2011.1.1.0 release: 371-3024-01 Cluster Controller 100 (Fishworks CLUSTRON 100) card2. To determine the current Storage Appliance Software revision, run the following command: 3. The following command can be run prior to a software update from the Software CLI to determine if the system has the cards that can cause the issue. For example:7000:> maintenance system updates list 7410:> maintenance hardware select chassis-000 select slot show Possible SymptomsOn a system that has this issue, the following warning messages will be displayed on the system console during boot: In addition, the system will not be able to rejoin the cluster, and the following message will be displayed continuously on the system console:SunOS Release 5.11 Version ak/[email protected],1-1.8 64-bit This appliance is part of an appliance cluster. Workaround or ResolutionIf the above symptoms occur after an update to the Storage Appliance Software 2011.1.1.0 release, a rollback to the previous software release should be performed. For example: 7410:> maintenance system updates select [email protected],1-1.37 rollbackYou have requested a rollback of the system software to an earlier version.
