StorageTek SL150 Modular Tape Library - Version All Versions and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

The OS (Operating System) does not see the library, but it does recgonize the drive.

Changes

 New Install

Cause

Multiple LUN issue or possibly the driver or firmware for the HBA is missing or not correct.

Solution

You need to have multiple LUN support set up on the HBA.  Without this, the default is LUN 0 which is for the drive.  LUN 1 is for the library.

Knowing the interface is SAS and the HBA is most likely our SAS HBA that we OEM from LSI, you need to go to LSI's website to get the latest firmware and drivers for the SAS HBA.
