ChangesTape alert checking is now done with Netbackup. If it finds certain tape alerts it will down the drive. CauseTape alerts are sometimes generated by the tape drive. They are not a good criteria to use to down a tape drive. Solution
To turn off tape alerts in Netback do the following: Touch the following on all media servers; /usr/openv/volmgr/database/NO_TAPEALERT Attachments This solution has no attachment |
