Symptoms

Error Can not initialize the barcode reader.

Cause

Possible Causes
- Flexi cable connecting the barcode reader with the robot has damaged, disconnected.
- Barcode reader is damaged.
 
As the Cable gets disconnected or damaged or the barcode reader gets damaged, it fails to initialize the barcode reader and the error gets reported.

Solution

1. Reboot the library.
2. Inspect the flexi cable for any damages.
3. Check if customer can disconnect and reconnect the Flexi cable connecting the robot and barcode reader.
4. Replace the chassis.
