Symptoms

V_CRS155 is physically labeled 9840 id “P" but library says id “M”.

Time : 2012-06-19T14:42:17.028 Device Address : 1.0.0.0.0 User : root Requester : hli0 Activity : move Request Id : 34942740 Level : error Result Code : 1106 Text : "Cartridge type not supported by drive" Parameters : cartridge=CRS1550M drive=1,1,-1,1,4

Could not determine when robot attempted to read volser for this cart as “M” instead of “P” .

Found HLI trace data via SDP site unit and it shows;
Move request (mount cart to drive) failed with error 0430 incompatible media/drive

V_CRS155 is physically labeled 9840 id “P" but library says id “M”.

Could not determine when robot attempted to read volser for this cart as “M” instead of “P” .
May be during CAP operation or Elevator operation.

Solution

Re-read label via SLC physical audit
