Symptoms


MB/SC failure has been reported by prtdiag with a message similar to this:

Cause

An error in the SC is detected by the system, and CPUs appear to work properly

However there is still an error message regarding SC:

scadm: unable to send data to SC

Solution

Update the Flash Prom and the OBP by applying the latest patch available and then reboot the system
