Symptoms

V2X posted SIM message with the following information in it:

IEA480E aaaa,SCU,MODERATE ALERT,MT=2105,SER=ssss-sssss,REFCODE=3FD9-zzzz-zzzz

More detail:
aaaa is the address associated with the SIM message
SER is serial number which is posting the SIM message
REFCODE = Provides data of the event, including the FSC code

Cause

PPRC LINK LOST CONNECTION ON IFC CARD SLOT 10 BOTTOM INTERFACE

Solution

Recovery steps:
NOTE: The V2X is stating the link is down between this V2X and the secondary
unit, not that it has dropped the link.
90% of these events are caused by something external to the subsystem.

1. Attempt to reestablish the link with CESTPATH command for this link.
If successful, monitor for re-occurrence.

2. If the link can not be established, contact the vendor of the network
between the two units.
Contact Oracle to review the status of the V2X that posted the SIM and the
secondary V2X.
