Symptoms

During booting the server the LSI Controller give the following error message:
Integrated RAID exception detected
Volume (00:002) is currently in state Failed

But entering the LSI Configuration tool not errors are seen

Changes

The system board Battery Voltage are lower then 3 Volt (current 2,88 Volt), but not in a critical condition.

Regarding the issue description the issue occur during a power off, where the Battery should hold the settings.

Cause

This problem can happen, if the Voltage from the system board battery is lower then 3 Volt

Solution

Check the Voltage value of the system board battery using the WEB UI from the ILOM

Put in the ip address from the ILOM into a browser url and login as root into the ILOM UI.

Click at System Monitoring - Sensor Reading
click at the links /sys/mb/v_bat

and see if the Voltage value is not less "lower_nonrecov_threshold"

If the Voltage from the system board battery is lower then 3 Volt, replace system board battery
