Symptoms
Event log filling up with thousands of FSC 88A5 FSC 88A6 events.
They all appear to be on one interface.
Changes
Only for code levels lower than D02.10.08.00
Cause
Microcode level is lower than D02.10.08.00 PLUS the FIPOUT.TXT file is full of this FSC pattern:

Solution
To stop the events, the FIP needs to be reset. This is accomplished by GFRing in place the VCF card. Note the card needs to be pulled out of the machine to ensure the card is restarted cleanly.
The permanent fix in a code change in D02.10.08.00 or higher.
