Symptoms

SLS6659I SIM occurs on the z/OS host logs.  This SIM from the VSM includes 7596 in sense bytes 22 and 23, indicating a warmboot occurred and bytes 30 and 31 contain 3BC8.

Cause

VSM Microcode
 CR 7015268, Product Family: Sun


Solution

First, verify successful recovery from the warmboot and the recording of FSC3BC8 in the VSM logs. Contact VSM technical support to help verify if necessary.

Second, on VSM4 or VSM5, schedule upgrading the microcode to D02.12.08.00 or higher level.  On VSM5C, upgrade to H02.12.08.00 or higher level of microcode.
