Symptoms
Once a drive is licensed:
VOP 1.0.14 will still show 'Unlicensed"; actually, the drive is licensed but not yet enrolled. This is evidenced by the fact that the "License" button is now missing in the VOP Encryption Tab.
VOP 1.0.15 will show "No ECPT" if the drive is licensed, but not yet enrolled.
VOP 1.0.16 will show "Un-enrolled" if the drive is licensed, but not yet enrolled

Solution
It is recommended to use VOP 1.0.18 and MDVOP 1.3 for licensing and enrolling drives.
T10K 1.44.x05 and higher and T10KC 1.53.311 1.0.18 and MDVOP 1.3 is required
Notes:
The encryption LED stays green after you license it until it starts talking with the KMA. (enrolled)
Do not trust the colors showing on VOP or SLC for this encryption status.
Go to the back of the drive tray and look at the led status there.
This affects licensing the drive for encryption.
This affects all KMA Software versions.
