Result code

Cause

In a limited number of cases it has been due to an improperly adjusted sensor.

The failure mode can be seen in the error log with an error similar to “ptp,

/usr/local/bin/Ptpif, error, 0000, 5017, "Director - initResponse()

cmo_init_ptp(): SRV Init PTP failed; cmo_init_recover_ptp(): Gate Unknown -

Slide Path/Sensor Check Failed; Sweep Slide Failed; End of Text"”.

Refer to the attached file to show the sensor location.

Solution

Resolution
To resolve the issue, remove the PTP assembly, and adjust the sensors so that when the PTP is extended the sensor is tripped on the side the array is extended towards. The sensors can be found on the underside of the PTP assembly.
