Symptoms
After installing Microsoft Windows 2000 on the Intel(R) Server Board SE7500WV2 and Intel(R) Server Board SE7501WV2 (used in Sun Fire[TM] V60x/V65x servers), under the Device Manager utility, some devices installed, show up as Unknown.
Some drivers are not detected, or issue errors like:

   scsi esg-shv scsi hsbp n18 scsi processor device
        pci devices
       system interrupt controller



Resolution
First, it is very important to upgrade the BIOS to the latest version.

The latest BIOS versions for the Sun Fire V60x and V65x servers, can be found in the advanced search utility on My Oracle Support:

After upgrading the BIOS, follow the link below, to download the additional drivers needed for Windows 2000, from the Intel website.
