Symptoms

VTSS fails to initialize during HSC/VTCS start-up
Message SLS6675E occurs for one or more VTDs
Lack of SLS6632I "VTSS server ready" message for each VTSS
SLS6632I does not occur if only one VTSS is configured
Message SLS6670E may also be issued
SLS6675E VTSS:nnnnnnnn VTD:dddd CONFIGURATION ERROR RC=6A40FF0C
SLS6675E VTSS: nnnnnnnn VTD: dddd CONFIGURATION ERROR RC=00000008 SUBSYSTEM INFO: 99999999/mmmm/ooooooo
SLS6698I ECAM I/O ERROR ON VTD dddd
SLS6670E RTD rrrrrrrr FAILED INITIAL CONFIGURATION WITH CC=254 RC=0

Cause

This problem generally occurs with a new install of a VTSS when the production arrays within the VTSS itself were not configured.

Solution

The FSE needs to configure the production arrays within the VTSS subsystem. After that has been completed, then stop and restart HSC/VTCS.
