Symptoms

The temperature sensor on the server is giving an error that the temperature is too low, but the reading is false.

Cause

Cause

A temperature sensor calibration error existed in older BIOS releases.

Solution

Resolution

Check the BIOS version on the server; it might need to be updated. The BIOS updates can be found at the following location:
   http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/systems/patches/firmware/release-history-jsp-138416.html

If the current BIOS version is older than updates on the page, updates will need to be applied in sequential order until you arrive at the latest release.
