Sun Blade X6275 M2 Memory Notes
- Install Blue socket DIMMs D5/D3/D1 then install White socket DIMMs D4/D2/D0.
- The configuration of CPU0 and CPU1 memory on each Node must be identical.
- Supported configurations are three DIMMs per CPU or six DIMMs per CPU.
- DIMM speed is limited by the CPU QuickPath Interconnect (QPI) speed.
- Maximum speed is 1333MHz when 1333MHz DIMMs are installed in D1, D3, and D5.
- Maximum speed is 1066MHz when any speed DIMMs are installed in all slots.
Sun Fire X2270 M2 Memory Notes
- Do not install DIMMs in slots next to an empty CPU socket.
- The minimum configuration is one DIMM per CPU.
- DIMM speed is limited by the CPU QuickPath Interconnect (QPI) speed.
- Install Blue socket DIMMs D5/D3/D1 then install Black socket DIMMs D4/D2/D0.
- Use of the same DIMM size and speed is recommended for maximum performance.
