Sun Blade X6275 M2 Codename: Vayu+
Sun Fire X2270 M2 Codename: Wasp+

Sun Blade X6275 M2 Memory Notes

  1. Install Blue socket DIMMs D5/D3/D1 then install White socket DIMMs D4/D2/D0.
  2. The configuration of CPU0 and CPU1 memory on each Node must be identical.
  3. Supported configurations are three DIMMs per CPU or six DIMMs per CPU.
  4. DIMM speed is limited by the CPU QuickPath Interconnect (QPI) speed.
  5. Maximum speed is 1333MHz when 1333MHz DIMMs are installed in D1, D3, and D5.
  6. Maximum speed is 1066MHz when any speed DIMMs are installed in all slots.

Sun Fire X2270 M2 Memory Notes

  1. Do not install DIMMs in slots next to an empty CPU socket.
  2. The minimum configuration is one DIMM per CPU.
  3. DIMM speed is limited by the CPU QuickPath Interconnect (QPI) speed.
  4. Install Blue socket DIMMs D5/D3/D1 then install Black socket DIMMs D4/D2/D0.
  5. Use of the same DIMM size and speed is recommended for maximum performance.
