Issue Description:
All Ultra 5 systems have been shipping with newly designed speakers
since May 2000. The new speaker is not backward compatible with the
old style speaker.

A new speaker design was implemented in Ultra 5 systems to resolve a
harmonic noise issue which affected sound quality. The new design
includes a plastic carrier. The new speaker design is not compatible
with older Ultra 5 systems. Systems manufactured with the new speaker
design are identified as such with the letter "C" following the serial
number on the EZ label.

Corrective Action:
This is an information notice only. The intention of this FIN is to
make the Field aware of the incompatibility between the new speakers
and the old speakers.

When replacing a speaker in an Ultra 5 system, follow the guidelines below.

Order the correct part number and replace the defective speaker with the
same style speaker. Old-style speakers (P/N F370-3170-xx) will be found
in systems manufactured prior to May 2000. New-style speakers
(P/N F370-4212-xx) will be found in systems manufactured beginning in May
2000. These newer systems will be identified by a "C" following the serial
number on the EZ label.
